Kids had fun wading in the shallow water ( I recommend pool shoes or flip-flops for the rocky riverbed ) and catching minnows, frogs, and such then releasing them. Very peaceful. Beautiful stars at night and lots of Summer fireflies. Nearby Mt. Ida has a grocery store and a couple of dollar stores to grab a few quick things that you may have forgotten. Not a very long drive to see things in Hot Springs as well.[/su_quote]

The grounds were beautiful – included two fire pits, washers, horse shoes, tether ball, and a park in the front lot! The river was clear and view from the cabin was great![/su_quote]
