The souvenir shop, TOURS OF MONTGOMERY is located right across the street from the now closed and deserted, BEN MOORE HOTEL (which should be re-opened for tours) ; a historical site located in the Centennial Hill area at the corner of High St. and S. Jackson St., just a block south of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.$0027s historic home in the 1960$0027s. That entire area is full of civil rights and Montgomery history… Vernon$0027s house, Hall Bros Barber. Shop (oldest in Montgomery- still operated by one of the Hall bros. who gives interesting “First hand” accounts of his encounters with Dr. MLK.). A must visit area for any tourist AND local![/su_quote]

This is such a historical place. I really hope Edward Davis Jr. find the proper funding to renovate this iconnic place, or at the very least, find someone who would honor the history after they purchase it from him.[/su_quote]
